Purpose

Partnering with families to guide children to Connect to Christ and His church, Grow in body, mind and spirit, Serve with willing hands, and Share God’s love with others.

Where do I bring my child(ren)?

Our children’s wing is located at the East end of the building. Please bring your child to check-in, where we will gather pertinent information for first-time guests and check your child in using our security system. Each child will receive a name tag to wear on their shirt, and each parent will receive a “Security” tag with a corresponding barcode. Please make sure to bring this barcode tag with you to check out your child. This will assist whomever is at Check Out in making sure they know who to bring and where they are.

You can also pre-check and keep track of your security tag digitally by using our Church Center app/website! This enables you to check your child in while on the way in the building, and all you have to do is scan your code at the Self Check-In station to print your labels.

The nursery at Rehoboth is for newborns to 4 year olds and separated into baby-one year old, two year old, and three-four year old. We offer a snack; apple juice and goldfish crackers for those eating table foods, unless the child has an allergy. We ask our parents to please let us know of any special needs, medical info, etc. that will help us better serve your child and give you peace of mind. The nursery is open for every worship gathering.

Sunday School & Worship

Sunday mornings, our kids gather in various settings to walk through the Go! Curriculum. They start in their Sunday School/Small Group classes at 9:30 where they are split up into Nursery, Preschool (potty-trained 3 YOs-Kindergarten), 1st-3rd Grade, and 4th/5th Grade.

At 10:45, our kids gather together for our Worship Hour activities! All nursery and Preschool kids stay in their rooms, while the Elementary group (1st-5th Grade) gather in the Old Sanctuary. Students are given snacks and led through worship songs and a Bible lesson, then wrap up the morning with activities and our Take-Home Worship Guides.

We chose the Go! Curriculum for many reasons:
  • The lessons for Preschool and Elementary groups line up to allow for families with multiple kids to continue the conversation at home as a unit!
  • Each week there is a clear presentation of the gospel message, tying in every lesson to the importance and reason of why we talk about what we talk about.
  • Lessons are on a year-long schedule, following closely to the school-year, and are ordered so that they will coincide with church holidays.
